The story of PEYAŞ Gıda started in 1989 with the brand of Yücekaya Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret, where Ekrem Yücekaya wholesales and markets dairy products and breakfast products in Istanbul Rami Toptancılar Sitesi.

In 1997, the value of quality production was added to the wide supply chain and customer-oriented service approach. With the responsibility given by the high importance of breakfast culture in Turkey, the Ezine White Cheese production facility was established in Çanakkale, the capital of cheese.
